CHAMBERS ARE LIVE NOW IN THE VENUE!

Returning to Avakin Life for a special Halloween performance, prepare for a hard-hitting, ear-splitting, musical onslaught of a genre of rock Chambers have coined “Sister Doom!”

This thunderous two-piece is comprised of the growling vocals and driving guitar of Aeris Houlhan and the loud, thrashing drums of Eleanor Cara Chrurchill. Citing diverse influences such as The Smashing Pumpkins, Nirvana and Kendrick Lamar, these are two women who seriously know how to put on a jack-hammer of a performance!

The band are heading back to The Venue for a second time, treating our ears to a second outstanding performance. Trust us, they are not to be missed, so get down to The Venue every day this week until the 3rd of November!

Commenting on the new material, front woman Aeris Houlihan says: “When I wrote the melody and opening lyrics I was thinking of a dark version of Alice in Wonderland, a dark lullaby so to speak. The song has more than one meaning as it developed between the two of us whilst writing.”

Don’t just take our word for it; take a look at what the press have to say about this incredible band:

“Chambers are a really special, hard hitting, unforgiving duo”
– Robert Bruce, (Huw Stephens) BBC Radio 2

“Guitarist Aeris Houlihan’s giant riffs are enhanced but not overwhelmed by a decent sized pedalboard and the intense vocal attack, combining with Eleanor-Cara Churchill’s thunderous drumming propel the sound off stage in an irresistible wave. I’m trying to take photos but my head simply won’t keep still.”
– SLAP Magazine

“It’s not often Clash will come across an entirely new genre, but ‘sister doom’ certainly covers it.” – Clash Music Exclusive Premiere
– Clash
